This installation is part of my final exam at the University of Fine Arts in Saarbrücken. In this multimedia experience, up to four users can control various stations and manipulate sound and video projections. The four stations a linked together, thus the users can interact with each other via sethe stations.
The artwork was attendet by Daniel Hausig, Christina Kubisch and Rolf Sachsse. It was exibhited at ehemalige Becolin Lack- und Farbenfabrik in Saarbrücken from the 19th of april till the 10th of may 2013.
Video projections on the walls showed interactive footage of various weather scenarios like rain, wind and sunshine. The videos also were reflected on a pools water surface in the middle of the room.
The work was developed as part of the group zkk_Zentrum für kabelgebundene Kunst together with Philipp Alexander Kaminski and his installation Strukturen/Angst which featured above mentioned pool. Several teaser videos and a poster where produced in preperation to the exibhition, all utilizing the exhibition location partially to promote the exhibition, partially to document the setup of the installation.
The installations used 4 video projectors to show video footage on the outer walls of the room. Additionally several LED pars and backlit photographs were put into the installation. The 4 wooden stations each housed a PC which ran the software and were connected via LAN. The installation runs on Pure Data. Each station could be controlled by it’s own unique self-made controller, which are reminiscent of commercially available video game controllers.
